Marché Saint-Antoine
The history of this market goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, when boats loaded with foodstuffs docked on the banks of the Saône. Today, it is still there and attracts inhabitants with its many vendors. It is the largest open-air market in Lyon. Its location, between the Célestins theatre and the old Lyon, makes it a pleasant place to go shopping.

The market is open every day (except on Monday) from 6 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Marché de la Croix-Rousse
This market sells all kinds of food, but it is also famous for its flowers. Most of the food is produced locally. Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse
Named after the internationally famous Lyon chef Paul Bocuse, this covered market is located in a building renovated in 2006 with a large glass wall facing the cours Lafayette.

Marché de Noël
The Marché de Noël (Christmas Market) is a great way to prepare for the holiday season. This market, lasting for a month before Christmas, opens in late November and closes on December 24th.
Every year, the place Carnot turns into a small illuminated village of stalls where local producers sell their Christmas products. Decorations, seasonal food (foie gras, ginger bread, mulled wine…), gifts and toys for children.
